We make use of electronic records as our preferred method of communication is electronic. Please supply us with the correct e-mail address and cell phone number and notify reception if any details change.

Appointments

When making an appointment, reception will ask for the reason of your visit - this helps us plan the day and prioritize sicker patients first. There is no obligation to disclose any personal medical information to reception should that be your preference. We try to minimize waiting times at the practice but often emergencies outside our control happens.

Results

All results will be communicated either via sms, e-mail or telephone. As mentioned the preferred method of communication for the practice is electronic. Urgent results will be communicated as a priority. Please allow at least 7 working days for the routine results to be communicated before phoning the practice.

Prescriptions

A fee is payable for telephonic prescriptions.Where possible, please allow 3-7 working days for preparation of the prescription.

After-Hours Service

The after-hour service is shared between other General practitioner's in town. In case of emergency phone: Relay EMS Ambulance at 0861 061 061, Gardmed Ambulance at 041 373 6777 or the room number at 042 940 0586. During after-hours the room number is diverted to the docter on call.

Specialists & Other Appointments

Please note that each patient must make their own appointments. We will supply you with the details to do so. This ensures that you can schedule appointments when it suits you best. We will ensure that urgent appointments are made.

Authorizations

Ensuring that authorizations are obtained for procedures, consultations and hospitalization is the responsibility of each patient unless otherwise stated by your medical aid. Please know which hospitals your medical aid covers to assist with referrals.

Accounts & Payments

Private patients - please settle your account after the consultation.
Medical aid patients - please wait for the claim to be submitted to your medical aid before leaving the rooms.
